Introduction

ELP is carrying on RWIS(Road Weather Information System) design and system construction works and providing the best services based on a lot of know-how and experience. ELP is providing various services incl. real time road weather information, road status forecast and warning service, the information on the input amount and time of deicing chemicals, etc. by developing road weather solutions such as S-RWIS(Smart-Road Weather Information System), MARWIS(Mobile Advanced Road Weather Information System), SPCWS(Smart Portable Compact Weather Station), etc. in order to support the driver’s safety and effective road operation & maintenance of road operators. Furthermore, all members of our company are doing their utmost effort for new technology development and R&D focusing on safety accident management and prevention caused by weather phenomena, e.g. fog, strong wind, freezing, etc. ELP will become your best partner as the number one company specialized in road weather in our country.

Exhibit Item 01

Our Mobile Advanced Road Weather Information System(MARWIS) is a new advanced-concept system which can measure road temperature, road status(wet, icing, etc), friction, water film height, ice percentage, etc. using a mobile road sensor mounted on a running vehicle. And this system can support comprehensive road weather information by integrating other weather sensors(all-in-one weather sensor, wind sensor, visibility sensor, humidity and temperature sensor, pressure sensor, precipitation sensor, etc) can be mounted on a vehicle. MARWIS can measure road weather elements on the entire stretch of a road and manage the dangerous sections intensively by overcoming the space constraint and limitation of the existing static road weather information system. Furthermore, a mobile road sensor can be linked with a smartphone and tablet PC(iOS-based and Android-based apps are available) so that a user can see the measurement date in a running car through the app in a real time.

Our Smart Road Weather Information System(SRWIS) is a solution to provide road weather information on the critical road environment like fog, gust, heavy rain and snowfall, etc. using various weather sensors(road sensor, visibility sensor, all-in-one sensor, wind sensor, humidity and temperature sensor, pressure sensor, precipitation sensor, snow depth sensor, solar radiation sensor, solar duration sensor, etc.). SRWIS supports drivers to drive safe and helps road operators maintain safe road operation and do effective maintenance works by providing them with dangerous conditions through the measurement of road weather and road status. The full system of SRWIS incl. program can be customized according to customer's needs and wants and be linked with salt spray system, emergency alarm system, road management system, etc. for the management of road safety.

Our Smart Portable Compact Weather System(SPCWS) can be installed and removed in an easy way by connecting sensors and powers to the system through connectors and can be transported in a convenient way through hard carrying cases. SPCWS can make users select an appropriate sensors for their needs and goals so that SPCWS can be applied to various areas e.g. the weather measurement around the road. SPCWS can support both AC power and solar power in order to prevent the problems caused by main power failure of the system and limited access to the power source and SPCWS can also supports various communications incl. RS232 and due to the help of spirit leveler mounted on the tripod, it is easy to level the system. Furthermore, users can monitor the measurement values through the internet by using self-developed web program.
